Good progress today.

The state House Commerce Committee voted 5-3 to send HB 2216 to the full state assembly. Good!

That means, of course, that Arizona is that much further away from beating Texas, New Jersey and Michigan for that Luddite Award...:tongue:

on edit: apparently, it now goes to some unnamed second House committee...not yet to the full House.

Thanks for the update AudubonB. Have you heard anything on a potential location for a second AZ showroom?

It'll go to the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, and then the Rules Committee. You can always follow the progress of a bill on azleg.gov.

Edited to add: Committees don't have to hear every bill that they're assigned. If you want to see this happen, write to the members of the T&I committee, and to your district's reps.

Wow, this is a big step in the right direction Arizona! Can some Teslaers go to the capital and help this bill's cause? May be they can show their Model S or Roadster cars :smile:.
