I've just bought TE15 LAR which although not perfect, I think it looks quite nice for £399!

You all have far too much money!

Every time I am tempted to buy a personalised number plate, I remind myself that this is an exercise in paying out a significant amount of money on what is essentially a series of letters and numbers. It serves no purpose whatsoever.

For me, part of of the fun of buying a new car is that it will come with the latest registration number. But that's me.

Do you lot think the UK should adopt different number plates for electric cars so they stand out from the rest and make people realise there are electric cars around, either with a totally different code or even just have E before the current code like some countries?
