I'm thinking about making a short trip up to Yosemite, but I'm only out in California for a couple months and as such it would be kinda wasteful (in both a money and materials sense) to buy chains - I'm up for following the law but no way in hell is this southerner going to really drive if the roads are snowy.

Anyone in the bay area willing to let me rent a set of chains from them for a weekend?

I have a pair in San Luis Obispo you could borrow, but it may be too far for you.
