Charging toggling on and off with GE charger

This morning I used a public charger in downtown Toronto. It was a GE 200V/30A charger. I kept getting notifications that the charging had stopped, but then a minute or so later it would start up again. Is this an indication of something wrong with the charger? Is this bad for my car? I have used a similar GE charger at another parking garage without issue.
