I think you meant Tesla Valet as we don't have valets at TMC (sorry to disappoint everyone!).

Haha! Good point. I was thinking Tesla Motors Corp (TMC) but I guess they don't go by that. Anyway, I tipped him $10 when he dropped my car off but have no idea whether that's an insulting amount or whether it's $10 more than anyone else gives him. Just thought I'd throw it out there to see what others are doing as I'll be getting my tires rotated every 5 weeks or so. It's an incredible service that they pick up my car at work, rotate my tires, safety check the car and wash and vacuum it, then return it to me all in the same day and charge nothing for it (beyond all the dollars I paid for the car).
Of course, I'd rather skip the valet service and just have them give me a P85D loaner...

I've tried to tip here and they won't accept the $. Then again I see my techs in the stores and they know me by name. So...hmm.

I thought that outside the annual service, you had to get the tires rotated on your own. Did they change that? Note, I'm not an owner yet, and until next month, the closest service center would be a 3 hour drive each way, so it would not be feasible anyways until the local service center opens.

I haven't had valet service so I can't address that. However, I tried to tip the ranger who replaced the master charging module and he refused it, saying that he could be fired if TM found out about it.

My wife and I rake in less than 100k. Tipped our delivery specialist on our first car. People tip for all kinds of reason, but rarely does it correlate with disposable income, beyond a very small minimum threshold. I doubt many people tip the person that delivers their expensive car, but likely tip the person delivering a pizza (at least I hope so!).
