Hi there,

after following the Tesla community since 2007, the dream come true and now i'm a happy driver of a Model S 85 since december'14 after driving an Opel Ampera (similar to Chevrolet Volt) for three years!

it's a steel grey one with autopilot sensors and tech package.

Welcome and gratz!

Can you tell us your view on how Tesla is being perceived in Germany, at least within your circle?

thank you all!

Well, the people here love Tesla, especially those, who has driven one, the press is fighting against almost all e-cars and the automobile industry sleeps as well and feeds the press ;) That's the situation here in germany.

Many people expects to drive over 140 mph on the german autobahn, so they are not sensible for reasonable arguments for electric driving. We need the speed limit here.

Do that many people actually drive that fast or spend that much time on the Autobahn? And aren't there sections (getting longer and longer) where you can't drive that fast?

Thanks for your input. Enjoy your car!
