    Charging plug caddy

    Hi,
As I charge my Roadster in a carport with a concrete floor, I did not want the charging plug to get damaged by having it just lay around on the ground when not plugged into the car. I first considered some sort of hook on the wall that lines one side of the carport, but as a renter I decided this could be a problem...
My solution is the plug caddy: it is made of a concrete tile (used for making paths and patios), a plumbing flange and one foot long ABS pipe.

    Overall view:

    "Action shot":

This block of foam is jammed at the bottom of the pipe to cushion the plug:

The plumbing flange is held to the concrete with a couple of concrete specific screws:

The bottom of the concrete tile is lined with small stick-on rubber feet:

    Greetings,
    David

    Nice handywork.

    I use two of these:

I have the run arranged so the cable never touches the ground.
