I have a suspicion it will be earlier as tesla ramps up production. Certainly hope so!
Does anyone have a vin for their D yet? I'm still showing an RN only
Additionally, an over-the-air firmware upgrade to the power electronics will improve P85D performance at high speed above what anyone outside Tesla has experienced to date.
I think I will have to trade my P85+ in...

And I guess it doesn't come in Sig Red...
You have so much to learn about Tesla!
I'm actually quite liking the D in all black. Including all the chrome parts blacked out.
Gizmonty you were right. My dashboard now shows 'late August' for the delivery date. No explanation from tesla.
I just checked mine. I've been bumped from June to "July"...

Oh no, same here. When did you confirm your order?
It's also no longer asking me to pick up from Melbourne… not sure if that's good or bad
Tesla's inability to meet self-set deadlines is depressingly predictable. My delivery date went from May to 4th quarter to 3rd quarter to December to 'maybe next week'. I suspect it comes from the top with Elon having a reputation for setting profoundly unrealistic deadlines to 'motivate' people. It looks like I'll be picking my car up from some lonely vehicle logistics centre in Altona when it finally does arrive. I wonder if there will actually be someone from Tesla there to give it to me - I have my doubts.
I have several colleagues who were Tesla-curious but who now don't want anything to do with them based on my experience. It's a shame. Perhaps they'll improve once they've worked through the initial delivery glut and built out the Melbourne service centre.
