Are they a lot more expensive in Canada? Brand new in the U.S. these are $750 now ($870 Canadian).

No, they are only $800 in Canada

Yes, until a few months ago they were $1200.

Actually, if you look at some of the recent sales on ebay and what buyers paid all in including shipping, if there are interested buyers in the seller's local area who can forego shipping cost, the price is not unreasonable. It's only if someone needs to pay for shipping on top of this that the price would be high, as the cost to ship this thing would probably be around $50 given its weight.

The seller lowered his price by $2-300. The current price is reasonable.

They sell for $800 plus 13% HST (In Ontario) = $904.00 - I have an offer so far of $550 but I'm holding out for a bit more!

Any Canadian who buys gets a 50% rebate so anything more than $450 and you're doing pretty good!
