Change in air suspension setting with 21" wheel

I had the same questions when i purchased my car. Unfortunately to prevent Tesla from being too involved, in case they didn't really support aftermarket rims, I purchased the 21's to prevent any issues. I'd also like to know the answer to this in case it comes in handy in the future.

As far as I know, the only difference is if you have a "P" and then the air suspension is supposed to be tuned for more sporty driving.

Performance. P85, P85+, P85D as opposed to S60, S85, or S85D. The "P" series have more HP.

I would guess it doesn't make a difference as it is auto leveling.

The tires have the same diameter and revs per mile, so there's no difference there.

A huge difference the + and D bring is the performance suspension, hence the Tesla recommendation for 21"s with those configurations. The air suspension would be configured differently accordingly.

I checked that before, alignment setting is different between 19" and 21". Air and coils suspension also make the difference. Warranty on suspension will not be covered if 3rd party rims are used. No more free car tow during warranty period as well.
