Anyone else seen this? I have a ranger coming in a few minutes to hopefully change out this driver's side turn indicator (which still seems to function properly). Noticed these burns or corrosion/rust a few months ago.

That is corrosion. Several have reported it before. Tesla has replaced the marker cover without question.

Been there. Done that. Mine were much worse. Both of mine were replaced last winter. Hope the new ones like this winter's salt better than the original ones. I also had corrosion on the bright strip that runs across the trunk lip between the tail lights, and all of the chrome plating flaked off the Tesla "T" on the trunk lip too.
Mods, suggest you change the Title of this thread to remove any insinuation of FIRE , and more accurately reflect the condition.
