Side scrape below door

Couple of days ago, I scrapped the plastic edge on right side, just below the doors. Short of replacing that entire part (~$800 as quoted by service center), I was wondering if there was a way to cover it instead or other options? Thoughts?

Maybe a partial wrap? would need to be carefully designed to look deliberate and would need to be done on both sides... Hmmm, maybe overall, not much cheaper than replacing/repairing it at a panel shop.
