From the conference call It seemed like Elon was implying they would build 100+ model X Betas .... did anyone else hear it that way? If they are going to build that many of them surely we will see one before long (spy shot) ... Then again maybe they will wait untill after the big reveal to start cranking them out.

Trifecta: Solar and both cars are EVs
They built a lot of pre-production Model S cars for testing, crash testing and as early showroom models so this doesn't sound unreasonable to me although I didn't specifically understood it that way from the earnings call.
