At this point, I'll believe them when I see them ship.
I was looking at buying an Arcimoto as daily driver around 2012/2013 since my daily commute is only about 20 miles, and hanging onto my ICE car when it wouldn't work. Back then, they were supposed to ship Pacific NW only "shortly" followed by the rest of the country. In the spring of 2013 I gave up waiting on them and bought my Model S instead, they're still trying to get to market.
I like their concept and would buy it for a around-town ride, and I do believe they're serious and will get to market eventually, but they're horribly overdue at this point.
