As a news anchor/reporter myself, that was probably the most revealing and interesting interview with Elon I've seen. They do have one major advantage over most typical American TV broadcasts... Time! And almost all broadcasts are highly edited. The one lady was doing a bit too much chiming in and not letting him finish a thought. But both usually let the "dead air" ride, so that was a nice change.
You could see at one point Elon was getting emotional when talking about the NASA contract saving the company from bankruptcy in the LAST minute. I would have liked to hear more about that day. And he also talked about what people don't understand that he finds obvious. We can all guess what he meant but I would have liked to hear it. I'm assuming it was about how to help the planet and people through smart choices and avenues.
The final takeaway: I feel compelled to call my S85 a Tez-luh from now on as Elon made it obvious he wasn't saying it with an "S" sound. Ironic given the Model S
