UPDATE: Only significant when creep is activated.
Picked up my car on the 30th of September. Have had a few small issues here and there. Noisy AC, whirling noise from some of the fans as the car "shuts down", web browser not working, frunk not assembled properly and possibly a few other things. Nothing major. Everything either fixed itself, or service plans to fix it this weekend. (Except for whirling fan, parts are not available for that until November).
One issue I am having is a noise that occurs when releasing the brake. This happens anywhere, anytime that I release the brake. I made a video and attached it below. It seems to be worse when in reverse.

I mentioned it to service. They told me that " it seems you’re witnessing the normal brake squeak associated with the Model S and the 21” wheels."
To be fair, he said he does not want to pre-diagnose until seeing it and is not sure until seeing it.
Listening to the video is seems pretty clear cut to me that this is out of the norm. Am I wrong, do all of your cars do this when releasing the brake? I tested out quite a few other cars of different types.
- 1993 Rolls Royce does not make this sound (40k miles).
- 2014 Maserati GTS does not make this sound(2k miles).
- 2010 BMW 5 series does make this sound (60k miles).
- 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena does not make this sound (11k miles).
- 2014 smart car does not make noise. Don't know mileage.
The 2010 BMW 5 Series is the only one that does this noise. I just went and tested it again. It does not make the noise going forward. It does make the noise going backwards, but really only noticeable when first placed in reverse and then moved. If I apply the brake again, but leave in reverse, the noise is negligible. A sound I likely could not capture on camera. The tesla noise is pretty obnoxious, I get a few strange looks when I back out of public parking stalls.
I know all cars are different, but I felt the above says something is wrong right?
Hoping to get some insight from those who know more about cars than me.
