Asked to "Confirm" P85D order again.

I placed and confirmed my order for a P85D on 10/10/14.

Looked at my dashboard this morning and it was asking me to "Confirm" my order again???

Anyone else experience this? Hopefully doesn't push me further back in line to take delivery!

Tesla asked all P85D orders to reconfirm starting last night because they changed the interior color and wheel options. I don't know what it did to the production queue, but my guess is it's going to be in order of the re-confirm time.

Did they send out an email about the changes??? That ticks me off!

Just got off the phone with Tesla since I confirmed again not realizing they had new colors for the Next Gen Seats! They are putting in a "request" to change me from black to tan. Poor customer service making changes without appropriate information!

I didn't receive an email. I knew it was coming and was watching for it. I learned that the new website was up from here (TMC).

As purchasers of a $130,000 dollar vehicle I shouldn't have to rely on TMC website to give me updates on the car that Tesla is building me. Delivery Specialists or Tesla Reps should have personally reached out (email or phone call) to those of us who had placed orders to let us know of these changes, so that we can make an informed decision about our vehicles. I'm usually not this crabby but this isn't good customer service.

I get that the bolstering is enhanced, but the colors look like the same bright tan and grey? More notable, to me, is that the price stayed the same, with going back to the original seats now looking like it saves $2,000.

So, $2,000 for some additional bolster padding, with the same fixed head rest? I'm not sure I see the logic of Tesla's options pricing. Give the stuff people really want away (auto-pilot/cheap AWD at least for S85), but charge high enough for other stuff that it almost dares people to think twice (Satellite radio/'Next Generation' seats?).

Apparently you have one week to make changes and Confirm your order or it will be confirmed automatically on 10/31 (at least that's what mine said).

Before everyone gets bent out of shape that those of us that confirmed in the wee hours of this morning will now have some higher priority than those that do nothing and have their orders reconfirmed one week from today, my guess is that this will make no difference in when you get your delivery.

I think it will be loosely based on when you placed your original order and paid the $2,500 deposit. After that, it will be slightly prioritized by options, colors and delivery destination. This assumes that no production on P85Ds has started and probably won't start for at least a couple more weeks.

I had the same experience this morning, noted that I was able to now choose between 3 color options for the am Enhanced Seats (kept choice as black) and was able to choose 19" Summer Rims and 19" Winter Rims (I chose the 19's in both cases based on feedback from P85+ owners in similar locations to me in Toronto). I am very happy now that Tesla has officially confirmed that the P85D is supported to run 19's all year. Looking forward to relative worry free driving.

Be careful of the Tesla snow tire package if you live in serious snow country. I'm putting together a set wheels with Nokian Hakka R2's for my winter setup.

Well, the e-mail to announce this finally came out tonight:

Congratulations on placing your order for Model S P85D!

We are pleased to announce that we now offer new seat and wheel options for your Model S P85D. If you would like to select new seat or wheel options for your vehicle, you are welcome to do so in My Tesla until October 30th. We recommend the next generation seats and 21” wheels for optimal performance.

Once you are confident about your configuration, you can confirm your order by clicking ‘Confirm’ in My Tesla. This will once again lock in your order.

Finally, if you are happy with your current configuration, you do not need to take any action.

Email from Tesla about P85D options

Got an email from Tesla saying I have until 10/30 to adjust my options (19" wheels and interior colors).
I don't have a P on order. Just a plain ol' 85D. Anyone else get this by mistake?
