Worth taking delivery early if can only drive for a month?

I'll be leaving the country for 3 months so if I take delivery in early February, I'd only have a month to drive the car before I have to stick it in storage.

Worth it?

Also, if I do decide to get it early, any particular hangups on storage I need to know about?

I would delay delivery... (back to the what you don't know won't hurt you...) Otherwise you'll suffer withdrawals during the time that you're away and the car is in storage.

I'd delay delivery until you get back. You'll be eating depreciation on a vehicle you're not using and Tesla keeps rolling new improvements into vehicles (which delaying may get you).

Yeah, I would delay also. A later production car may have some improvements, plus you won't be making payments and having depreciation on a car that is in storage.

I would dely deliver. If you don't dely and decide on storage for three months find a place to have it plugged in. Check w/ Tesla a simple 110 outlet might be enough. If not find a friend to charge it once a week.
