    Icon4 Sticky

Under "Tesla Roadster" there are threads that are "Sticky" so show up at the top of many others despite 5 of the 7 not being commented on since last decade. Not sure how they got sticky, but is there anyway to UNsticky them?

The moderators can do that. If you want something stuck or unstuck you could send one of them a PM.

How do you send a PM to a moderator? I know how to send one to a user name... do I just put in "moderator"?

DPeilow seems to be the most active moderator.

Maybe I should go back to moderating again...

The moderators make them sticky, usually if it is felt they contain some useful information that new users should refer to before asking the same thing again. Often it is other members that request this.

How about instead of clouding most of the top of the forum with old sticky threads and make a very usefull old posts master thread and link to those older threads from there?

That way we get both advantages

Do you revist them to see if they should still be sticky, from time to time? If not, can you revisit the ones in this category to see if some of them can be unstuck?

Lastly, happy for you to delete this whole chat thread if you'd like.

If any looking is done it should be from the eyes of a newbie. I like Cobo's idea. I figure the new TMC (when it comes) will address this type of issue.

Any response to this issue? Think it would be great if the new topics appeared on the first page without having to scroll down.
