Just caught this in the Model S design studio when looking at the impact of "D"... good to see they are using that version of idealized miles when EPA results are not yet available. (Looks fair or even slightly conservative on the old range vs. speed curve for Model S 85).
Now as much as I'd like to see that phrase next to the ~400 miles range pack for Roadster
, I have a feeling the ~400 will be good old-fashioned ideal miles (at 55 mph), range-mode charging.
And the tilde will be at least as important.:wink:
And none of this makes me any less grateful that they are providing an upgrade at some point.:biggrin:
