I got one too but will have to come out there from NYC. Trying to figure out how we made the list and how many invites. Do you own "TSLA" or have an order in for a sig X?

Own a Model S and TSLA stock. But don't have an X reservation.

I think its a mass mailing - a friend who only took a test drive also got an invite.

Planning to go there early - I think it's going to be a zoo!

Seems likes a second wave of invites went out. I just got one. Model S owner since 2/2013, no other reservations.

Weird -- both our sales rep and a guy in customer relations said it was "selective". I figured Elon was using this airport so he could demonstrate how the D" can go 0 to 60 down the runway in 3 seconds (with no driver).

Some how got off the Tesla email chain. Wife called concerning her X reservation and not getting an invite. Got an invite soon after. Looking forward to the event.

my neighbor keeps talking about wanting to buy my S if I ever need to upgrade it. not sure if he could really afford it but he drools over it daily

well I couldn't possibly go due to a work trip that day anyway. <

I get this constantly from a neighbor whose wife has put the banhammer down on his Tesla dreams. Every time I see him he's like, "That Model S is always parked in the wrong driveway..."

Probably wouldn't choose an event time after sunset, if that was the plan.

They've done a coule events at Hawthorne. Supercharger demo, battery exchange, etc... It is where the tesla design center is located. As well as space x.

Wow, quite a few invites. We didn't need to check in, they just started handing out wrist bands. Will need to attach pic later. D=dual motor., 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, as fast as a Maclaren! And something else, Autopilot!
