Now you can lease through Tesla!

I just checked the design studio and noticed a leasing option through Tesla. Not sure about the details but it's interesting... And if you click the order button, it gives you the following options:

Tesla Financing
Tesla Leasing
Financing through my bank or credit union
Cash

I wonder if Tesla financing is still Scotia Bank...

Just called Eric from Montreal sales/delivery. The leasing will be a 3-year term for ~3.9% with a high residual value! You can call him for more information. It's better to have a configuration ready to get exact numbers when you call.

I understand that I was the very first lease in Canada (in August). Great program. Lease is with Tesla. Residual value is virtually the same as on the buyback via financing.

It's $5k down, but in Quebec they apply the $6k government rebate to cover it, so nothing down and about $30/month less than the quoted price. If it were a four-year lease, the rebate in Quebec would be $8,000, so I'm a bit surprised the only listed option is three-years.
