E-Mazing Race Launch Event in St. John's Newfoundland

I will be, tooling around close to the other coast. We just finished 2.5 months/17,000km on the road and didn't quite have it in us to traverse the country twice so soon. Mayhemm is doing the whole thing though. Good luck and much fun to all who are dancing! Looking forward to getting the app to work (it hasn't, for me, yet :-/).

I'm participating but staying mostly around Ontario. I was at the Ottawa launch last night, but it was a pretty low-key affair - pretty much just a photo op for a lineup of EVs. Should be fun!

And for the app, I assume you mean the web version, since the IOS and Android ones aren't released yet. It's a bit confusing to work with, but it's working for me. Here's the short "how-to": Go to http://m.suncountryhighway.com/; if you haven't registered, click "Join the E-Mazing Race" and then Register to register. Once you've registered, log in and search for charging stations, either with the "near me" icon or the search box. Then to check in at a charging station, click Check In, enter a review if you want, and click Save Review.

The Android app has been out for three days (unless I'm unwittingly being used as a beta-tester). You should have received an email with a download link and instructions.

I didn't read the instructions carefully, so when it asked me set up an account, I didn't check the "Register for the e-mazing race" box since I thought I was registered when I originally signed up for the race and received a ticket number. It turns out that "register" means "enter your pre-assigned ticket number," the box for which doesn't appear unless you check "register."

Once I had an account without a ticket number attached, I couldn't find a way to change it, so had to create a new account under a different e-mail.

My mistake - the IOS app isn't out yet but the Android one is, as you said. Glad you figured it out and yes, that part confused me too at first - there's registering for the race, and then there's registering the app with the registration number you got when you registered
