I am planning a road trip from California to Houston.
The best road on the map with superchargers will take me to Oklahoma, though he route to Houston is not yet completed.

Has anyone driven from Oklahoma to Houston? Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

So I assume you're not waiting until the end of the year...

Seems like you have some RV parks in your future.

I don't know much about the route between Salina & OKC, but it appears there are some Plugshare opportunities in Wichita. Surely there are also RV Parks.

- Skirvin Hilton in OKC has HPWC $26/night $12/day for parking
- Winstar World Casino & Resort on the OK/TX border has RV park and hotel, so would probably make a good overnight.
- Once in Dallas, you can get a charge at the Tesla Gallery, or one of the numerous HPWCs on Plugshare (including mine).
- Once past Dallas, fruitcake is in your future at the Corsicana Bakery Supercharger.

Do you have dual chargers? If not, there's less of a need to prioritize the HPWCs.

There are some 80-amp HPWCs on Plugshare in OKC that we're considering for a trip this winter going the opposite direction.

I have an HPWC in McKinney, TX (about 75 miles south of the TX/OK border) that you're welcome to use. I'm on Plugshare. I think there's only one HPWC farther north than mine in north Texas.

Depending on your specs and the weather, you may be able to make it from the Salinas Supercharger to north Texas with only a single stop at one of the HPWC's in OKC.

From my place, it's only 85 miles to the Corsicana Supercharger, so even if you arrive with a low SOC, it won't take long to charge enough to comfortably make Corsicana (assuming you have dual chargers to pull the full 80 amps).
