For Labor Day weekend my wife and I decided to go visit family up in Boise, ID. Which unfortunately is out-of-range even on a 85kWh battery at 353 Miles.
We left home Thursday afternoon around 4:30 PM to head to an RV Park (Village of the Trees RV Resort) that is about 180 miles miles from home, and conveniently 180 miles from family in Boise. We slept over-night in the back of the Tesla while we charged. Woke up Friday at 7:00 AM and continued our drive up to Boise. We repeated the same for the way back, leaving Sunday afternoon, Tesla-Camped overnight at the RV Park, returning home Monday morning.
While in Boise we dropped the car off to charge for a few hours at a Ford dealership off a J1772 @ 29mph to rebuild a buffer. The rest of the time we charged off of an outdoor 120V socket @ 4MPH at our families home.
On Saturday we took the Tesla down to a weekly event called "Hot Rod Hangout" where everyone brings out their old muscle cars. Had a lot of people ask questions about the car, very exciting. Even shot-down one guy who tried to claim Tesla batteries just "run out" (must have seen the Top Gear lie).

In my hand-written notes "EVT" is EV Trip Planner both with my guesstimate before the trip and calculated again with matching speed after the trip. One thing I really like about evtripper is: it tends to be conservative. Which is great. If evtripper says you can't make it. You can't make it. On the other hand, if evtripper says you can make it, but it's going to take 265RM, you'll be able to make it with ~15RM to spare. I've used evtripper for all my trips, but this is the first one where I actually kept notes.

On the way out I took it nice and easy, unsure how good my buffer would be, cruising at just about 60mph the entire way. We started with 264RM and arrived at the RV park with 98RM remaining. From the RV Park to Boise, again nice and slow, left with 265RM arrived with 122RM.

The Return Plan:
For the return trip, I decided to be a little braver. Cruising at 80mph the entire way, from BOI to RV left with with 267RM arrived with 66RM. From the RV to SLC we left with 246RM arriving home with 20RM. 20RM is my current personal record for low battery.
