1: Extract all of the files on your phone, somewhere on the SD.
---Tasker---
2: Import the Profile XML into tasker: Go to the main screen, long click on the tab for Profile, and import.
3: Go to the TASK tab, open the OVMS task and change the first 3 variables to suit your car.
EnterYourCarIdHere: Car ID used in OVMS
EnterOVMSServerUserHere: Your OVMS Server Username
EnterOVMSServerPassHere: Your OVMS Server Password
Note: the password is not sent to anything else than the OVMS sever, through a HTTPS connection. You can check the tasker task for yourself to be extra sure in case you're paranoid.
Note2: DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE OR IT WILL STOP WORKING.
4: Optional: test run the profile/task to see if everything was configured right.
---Zooper Widget---
5: Go to the ZW files in your file explorer.
6: Once you click them, and open with Zooper Widget, a dialog for importing the template will show up. Give it a name.

hi all,

I got an LG G Watch R yesterday and started playing around... anyone interested in a clockface for Android Wear, featuring some Roadster data?
Here's a Roadster-dashboard styled clock, including a car-battery indicator. Tasker feeds the watch with information from OVMS.

And since I like real-life watches, I made a quick and dirty modification to this Panerai watchface, adding a small dial on the right, showing my battery is currently at 50%

Is there any need/interest for watchfaces like this?

hi, I do not get it running. tasker task 4 gives file not found exception. I am not sure I am typing the proper username and password. which do you mean? see attachment, there is nothing like OVMS server username...

After seeing this, I want to buy a Sony Smartwatch 3. But I have some Q's before running to the store..

  • My phones are, and will be Windows Phone in the future. So the watch can not rely on the OS of my phone. This also means, I have no app available for OVMS, so using TXT for now..
  • Mobile data connection would be via Wi-Fi thetering or Bluetooth. I hope the watch can wake up the internet sharing on the phone.

So, if someone tells me I can use the widget with this setup, I know what to buy today :)
