Retrofitted seats

Has anyone else with a VIN less than 38xxx tried the driver's seat retrofit mod to improve lateral support like ddruz?

Thanks for the reply! Our service center offered to stop by with a new model and let me do an A/B comparison before I do the switch, as they told me that it is "irreversible."
I believe in the preceding thread, Elon did mention that replacement seats may be available, but I imagine that it would have to be at least at cost, which I suspect with labor to be pretty significant.
