12v power in with the microphones under the screen question..

It's actually not really hard to pop open the connector, then lay your prepared red & white wires (tinned & trimmed to length) on top of the hot and ground, then just snap the connector closed. Saves searching for a connector, and preserves the connector for the lighted vanity mirrors on the sun visors.... This is what I did when installing my Blackvue dash cam. You might search these forums for dash cam installs and the like to see what others have done.
