(sorry if this has been thrashed about previously)
I have two power inverters. One has no cord and "juts" out directly from the cigarette lighter. One has a cord. (cigarette lighter ... yes .. I am old)
The one that "juts" runs a very loud fan and fails to power my daughter's macbook pro. It is "supposed" to be 200W
The one that has the cord is very quiet and will power her macbook pro on a good day .. but runs very very hot.
Looking for an inverter that
1) is compact
2) does not run very hot
3) does not have an obtrusive fan
4) would like to have a cord so that I can position it where I want.
5) has enough umph to power her macbook pro (I mean, what is a trip without Netflix, right?)
BONUS: USB ports
