I have been in DC the past few days and on Friday visited the Smithsonian Museum of American History. They have a huge display (rooms and rooms) delving into all the changes in the last century. The display explanations did venture into the 21st century, last item I saw was circa 2013, so arguably before Tesla had an impact (ok, by car sales stats, Tesla and other electric cars STILL don't have much impact, but *we* at least can all see it's coming).
I can see the Seeking Al**a headline now: "Tesla - the new Devil Wagon!!!!"
When put in today's context of electric cars changing the world (again), I thought these displays were telling.
And my favourite quote: "The gasoline engine was almost as easy to use as an electric". High praise indeed!
