problem with thread constantly showing up as unread

Hello.

I have gone through this thread : http://www.teslamotorsclub.com/showthread.php/4886-Ford-Focus-EV
However, when I go to what's new, it still shows up as unread.
I wouldn't mind so much except that it is blocking any threads after it from showing up.

I did notice that when I clicked on showing the first unread post in that thread, it took me to the Nissan Leaf thread (I went through that thread to make sure it was read also). I know the moderators move some conversations between the 2 threads.

Is there any way to remove that thread from the What's new list in my profile?

I've seen that happen occasionally. If you use the menus to set the entire section as read (or the global Mark Forums Read button) then it will go away.

Not strictly true. When a post in a thread is in moderation/review/whatever it tends to act as an "always unread" sticky. I've reported this problem before but it still recurs.

Workaround that sometimes is effective: reply to the thread, then delete your reply.
