I need some advice. I have a P85+ with 21" wheels.
I live in NYC and travel 50 miles per day and 200 miles on weekends.
Obviously the roads here are terrible. I got 2 flats and a sidewall bubble last month after hitting a single pothole then another sidewall bubble last night and I didn't even notice hitting anything.
I've only put 2800 miles on this car and I've already replaced, at my cost, 4 tires. This seems likely to continue.
I see my options as follows:
1) buy 19" wheels and tires
2) buy 20" wheels and tires
I realize that the 19s with taller sidewalls will reduce the chances of sidewall damage but how about 20s? or are 20s not a big enough step up in thickness.
All input appreciated!
