Hiring Veterans as Tesla Drivers in your City?

Cool idea to increase $$$ in pocket and entrepreneurship opportunities for military veterans. In Pittsburgh, now that the Cranberry, PA Supercharger station officially "opens" May 13, VETaxi White Glove (intellectual property, not a franchise!) car service is beginning with two Tesla Model S vehicles. Veterans start out as drivers with a focused training and empowerment academy program to get them to become vetrepreneurs and own/operate their own small transportation business. What do you think of this idea in your city? Do you know any under-employed or unemployed Veterans who could/should be interested going from zero - 5 Teslas in your city to provide disruptive Tesla transportation car services? The non-profit Operation Proud To Serve You Again assists turning drivers into running there own sustainable business during a 3-year mentoring program.

As a vet, I'm all for vet-friendly businesses and franchise opportunities. But this might be a hard sell when Uber and Lyft can turn anyone into an independent contractor making $25-35 an hour with zero startup costs (aside from the car). Would a taxi company with only a few cars be seen as one that you could depend on for reliable, responsive service?
