These are the first true all LED headlights. We retrofit your standard headlights to equip with special LED bulbs and strips. The option for sale is the most expensive version. Depending from your order configuration here http://www.teslaowners.us/spares/roadster/upcycled-headlight-roadster.html
we will calculate the exact price. In this case please order through the above link. The entire headlights are handcrafted up-cycled. We just do not want to waist such a nice set of headlights. The entire set of left and right headlights contains:
1. Low and high beam each with ultra bright LED racing bulbs 18 lumen (6x brighter than stock lights) plus cooling fan. These fans will also contribute to avoid known fogging in headlights.
2. Ultra bright LED strips that an be used as DRL. 12,000 h of run-time.
3. Blinker in LED with option LED amber blinker site strip
4. LED parking light
With a dual exchange we will up-cycle your existing headlights to this set. We will send you a spare set if you need to drive your car and exchange your later up-cycled headlights at the second round. Lead time is in average 6 weeks depending from order volume. First set was installed at Ken Edwards green Roadster. See picture. Videos are under the link above. Make the original even better and install all LED you will save about 65 % of energy consumption of the headlights. Lower grill LED are not part of this.

Correct 1800 lumen. That is about 6 x stronger than the standard lights. Are you interested?

The customer Ken Edwards is in CT and it is quite moist in New England. We also seal the lights with a special tape.

The LED bars are not coming from us. You would need to contact Ken. Once he told me that the folks from his garage installed to lights for him. I got a simular set from BMW and connected these lights to the parking lights.

As long as the lights are excellent the pictures can suffer. Everyone who has the lights says that they are great. We actually now producing another full LED set.

We made further improvements on our all LED headlights.
1. 3000 lumen per bulb, 30W, >30,000 h life, Source Cree, water proof lp68
2. Optional low beam, high beam or both.
3. Reverse-engineered heat patch to avoid moisture in headlight
4. Premium sealed clear silicon to prevent moisture in headlights
5. Clear bra (thick clear film) on headlights to avoid sun damage and peeling
6. 42 ultra bright LED light strips integrated in the outer site of the headlight
7. Optional 12 LED blinker lights (amber) or ultra bright white as parking light
8. LED parking lights
9. LED amber blinker lights
Biggest part of the labor is in opening, sealing and closing the headlights plus the full-integrated LED strips glued and taped from the reverse site of the light.
Options for the up-cycle your lights.
1. Buy the parts from us then you do it for yourself.
2. We use your lights for up-cycle and in the interim you get an exchange set from us. (requires a deposit)
3. You send us a regular Roadster headlight set in good condition that you can get on the aftermarket for about $ 300. Send this set to us and we will up-cycle this set.
4. Buy a ready to use up-cycled set from us.

Feb 2016 - Created an improved design for the headlights. Now with combined dual LED light tube. DRL white and flasher in amber color. Better LED 6000k 4000lm Brightest fund bulb that fits the low beam for the Roadster with only 40W consumption. Please see new pictures and you still can order here.
