I must be missing something. I tried configuring the same car on Tesla site and got a new price of $73,970. Are there other options not listed in your posting perhaps?

I did... my error was getting fooled by the Tesla configurator taking $10,000 off the new price for incentives. I have always hated that "feature" of the site. So, after realizing that mistake this seems like it is priced pretty reasonably. Sorry for the confusion!

And less sales tax too given the lower purchase price. The CA $2,500 rebate is pretty much gone anyway.

That is my understanding also, that it will be refilled in September. It will require some sort of State budget action and rebates will be sent in the ordered received. There is some risk, but what day goes by that we don't encounter some risk. LOL
