Tax Credit For A public Charging Station

There was a tax credit that you could claim for your costs to install the charging station. I haven't heard of any credits/deductions for the electricity that you give away on an on-going basis.

You can use IRS Form 8911 for a charging station installed in 2013. Personal Use or Business Use is acceptable. Public use is not necessary, but if you use it to attract customers, I'm sure you can qualify even if the business does not own any plug-in vehicles.
