Charging Stations and solar power

I've been following much of the news about the new Supercharging stations being opened around the Arizona / Las Vegas area. It seems like all the stations that are being opened are just chargers. I was under the impression that the charging stations were going to be solar powered. Are the panels going to be added later?

That's the plan. Get them built quickly so folks can charge (and cars can be sold based on availability of superchargers) and come back later to add solar where possible.

Good plan. We really need the SC network to spread all over the world as soon as possible.
