I want to share the new look of my model S Wrapped in Matte Orange.
It's definitely a head turner.

The Wrap took about a week, it looks pretty good in person.
I don't daily drive the car so I figure why not Orange.
The cost was around $3500 including Tesla Removing the Molding and replacing the emblems.

Omg. Nice job. I better not show my son (14 yrs old). He'll want me to do this ASAP. He loves the matte look

Agreed, on both points.

Blacking out the trim would really tie the look together, especially with the gray wheels, and bring that into supercar looks territory.

Very nicely done. I always liked a little darker, a burnt orange color. And I agree with the others about the trim, matte black would look great. (But I am biased about that :biggrin

Thanks guys for the positive input.
I really wanted to black-out all the chrome trim but I was told by my Tesla service center that while removing the trim there is a high possibility that the larger pieces would likely break and need to be replaced, I might just bite the bullet and do it.
I took the pictures in the parking lot of Scottsdale Fashion Square.

Do detailers actually need to remove the chrome trim pieces to black them out? I thought they just stuck the black vinyl right on top of it, cut it in place, and tucked the edges.

I am not an orange car fan in general, but this iridescent thing is quite striking!

I'm thinking of going the orange route on my new Tesla and I really like the depth of the matte orange you've used. Have you got some specs on the orange wrap?
