I got stuck on my way from Seattle to Portland. The whole trip took approx 9 hours. I had to get to Portland after doing some stuff in Seattle, but a change in events lead to this dilemma. Charged at Centralia then drove toward Seattle and Lynnwood to do some stuff but not enough charge to get back to Centralia superchargers.
It was around 7:30pm and I was not able to use the Tesla high power chargers do to the fact they they were closing. The standard 30 amp chargers out there are just too slow. I had to make a stop at Muckleshoot Casino to charge for 4 hrs then I thought I had enough juice (75 miles) but ended up almost stranded at the AeroVironment (6131 Capitol Blvd SE, Tumwater, WA, 98501) charger. Luckily once I called them they activated the charger right away for me and this was at around 12:45 am. Charged for about 50 min then drove super slowly to Centralia. I made it to the superchargers with just 6 miles left. After charging I was speeding like there was no tomorrow because this was the worse experience ever.
There has to be more fast chargers out there. At lease need 90 amp chargers. Are there faster chargers up in Seattle? I am not from that area so maybe that's why I had this problem.
