Survey: Sat-Nav Systems Make Drivers 12% More Fuel Efficient

A recent survey from social science research firm NuStats, finds drivers using sat-nav systems use 12% less fuel than GPS-less motorists.

Comments on that link are very negative. I'd say they are coming from people that have very little experience in driving through unknown countries and cities looking for certain address.

I just came back from a longer trip. Navigation saved me tons of nerves and prevented me from circulating in search of a target street. Try to stop and ask for directions on a 6-way highway...
