Tesla provides us with only one mobile connector. If we keep it in the car, then we need to open the trunk, take it out, put it back in everyday when we charge in the garage. If we leave it in the garage, plugged into the wall, then we need to make sure we don't forget to put it back in the car while going on a trip.
So I figured buying the mobile connector bundle accessory may be a good idea, so I can leave one in the garage and have one in the car at all times. But the bundle includes the exact same adapters that come with the car to begin with. I would rather get a bundle with different adapters, may be a 14-30 and a 6-50, for example, instead of the regular 14-50 and 5-15. Since all adapters cost the same, I see no reason for Tesla to now allow such a swap.
Has anyone else had any similar experience? Also, does anyone feel it is not worth spending the $650 on the bundle in the first place?
