Supercharger - Green River, UT

I just got word of the location of the Green River, UT location. The supercharger is not currently under construction but should be soon and is at the John Wesley Powell Museum - 1765 E Main St Green River, UT 84525. Is anyone in the area to provide any pictures or updates? Thanks.

I just got word from an insider that the workers are on location and have already broken ground. He said they are starting on the presses now.

Forgive my question, but what are "the presses"?
Probably nothing to do with written journalism....

I unfortunately had the same question but I felt that I was harassing my source so I didn't ask for clarification. Hopefully someone can shed some light but unfortunately it won't be me.

I drove through Saturday and no ground had been broken yet. They start this morning?

When I asked if they broke ground yet, his response was "Have people there now starting the presses". Its quite possible. Same contact told me about the Las Vegas and Flagstaff locations so he's been accurate. Don't want to send you out of your way if you're not close by, but I think there should be some resemblance of construction now.

Starting the Presses refers to the old printing methods where the presses had to started and warmed up, edited and type prepared before the final newspaper runs were started. Typically when copy was due to the paper to make the run. Basically means the process is started and rolling.

It IS the same crew that did the construction in Kingman AZ and Detroit Lake OR. Anyone in the Green River UT area able to get some photos? I'm guessing site construction is well on its way by now!

If anyone is doing the Moab to Grand Junction or back route, it is an extra 39 miles for a total of 149 miles to go by the Green River site. An easy add-on, if someone is interested. :wink:

I spoke with the crew in Kingman AZ. We talked about the TMS, and sites they had built!! They stated it was freezing in Detroit Lake WA, warm in Kingman AZ and that they were moving to their next supercharger in Green River UT. They were leaving for Green River UT right then and there..! This crew had no other supercharger construction projects in their pipeline to their dismay!!!

Yes, I've also spoken with someone in this group and they've helped with Vegas and Kingman too. They are also helping out with El Centro as well. Looking forward to the updates which sound like should be coming in soon!
