I'd like the ability to mark a group or thread as read--not just the entire forum.

I like the new regional forums. Thanks.

Do you think that the main forum 'Tesla Motors Forum - Discussion about Tesla Motors' should be moved up ahead of the community forums? That way when the website is launched, they are near the top and you would need to scroll down.

Good point. We're not quite done with everything there. So I'd rather not confuse people by moving things around too often.

could you put a subforum in all models about "wheels & tires" the number of topics about this is getting out of hand I think!

Yes, we're discussing it now and hope to have it worked out in the next couple weeks.

It would be nice to be able to mark an individual thread as read so you dont have to open each page to get it off your not previously read list.

It would also be nice to add a feature to "ignore thread" - or, "ignore subforum" (e.g., I would be OK not watching Roadsters for sale, for now...) so they doesn't appear in the New Posts view.

In other words, the overhead of visiting each forum and then "finding" the new threads is high.
I found a vbulletin mod that would solve this exact issue, apparently it will also work in 4.x versions as well:
Selective Forum Filter - vBulletin.org Forum
