I'd like to see them show a rolling chassis (similar to the Roadster one they had in Detroit) that shows the packaging of all the drive train 2.0 components.
OK so hopefully Doug is now in the LA area (if his Miata held up) and he asked me to gather up all the questions and send them to him. If you have any last minute ones, better get them in quick.
Doug had to do a last minute repair on his Miata, but I got an sms from him when he was on the road in Sunnyvale. I've not heard from him since then, but I expect that he'll be checking in soon.
Some last minute questions:
#1: Is the current prototype street-legal / road-legal?
(In other words is it just a matter of getting a factory online to make more just like it?)
#2: Has it been crash tested at all?
(We know they had to go through a lot of Roadsters before that was certified)
Doug got to his friend's safely, you'll be pleased to know.
I'll pass those on.
I hope he had a nice drive. The weather has been great the past 2 days.
OK, another question for Doug: Highway 5, 101, or 1 ?
edit: Looks to be Highway 5... (Doug, it's "Lebec")
