Robert Farago, head honcho over at The Truth About Cars website, has posted an article casting large amounts of Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt upon Tesla Motors.* His argument is:* Tesla are secretive, they won't let anybody drive or test their cars, they won't provide evidence to support the many claims they've made, and the whole thing may just be a big scam.
See for yourselves:* http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/?p=3383Tesla Motors claims it's taken 350 deposits for their Lotus Elise-based, lithium ion-propelled, $92k Roadster. Despite this success, Tesla's hyper-exotic may be nothing more than hype-fuelled vaporware. The company refuses to allow any independent product evaluation.
There are a lot of hot comments too, including several from Darryl Siry, Tesla's VP of Marketing.
