Two for sale at the sale time devalues them both a bit. I would have waited for the # 107 NJ car to sell. Note that after 2 days with no bids at the starting price of 125K, the owner of #107 has dropped the starting bid to 115K -probably their beak-even point.

Even though FL and NJ are far apart, it would seem delivery would be small in relation to the car's selling price.

It's at 70K now 5PM to 10PM yesterday. Two main bidders.

Does raise lots of questions for Tesla. They are probably watching resales closely. Sooner or later there will be more on the market for whatever reason (economy, Madoff victims, latest toy). It presents some difficulties but also opportunities. Wonder what the maintenance will cost for those buyers not on contract with Tesla. The one year warranty is probably transferable as are probably other(s) (which I have NOT read and only speculating). Other than that...could get very expensive not buying direct.

All car warranties are transferred with VIN #....the full 36 month warranty would be in effect regardless if it is the first or tenth owner.
The only exclusion that Tesla warranty clearly states in small priint .." if the car is exported the warranty does not apply "
-Not sure what maintenance you are referring to as maintenance is not included for any buyer ...
-What one year warranty are you referencing?

Up a mere $350.00 but there are still 4 days. The last hour will be the most exciting.

Absolutely nothing happening in the last 12 to 24 hours on either Tesla that's up on Ebay. It will be interesting to see if there is a final flurry of activity in the last few hours on either one, and whether their minimums are met.

I'm sure much to the delight of the sellers and not the early bidders...

Inched up another $200 to $95,550. Underwhelming activity so far....

This is a Signature "100" car number 76 in the world. Color is British racing green which was only available to the first 100 car owners.

Car has both "soft" and "hard" tops.

Actual mileage as of March 16, 2009 is 396 miles, and car will not be driven until sold.
