Before the production delays took hold I had the California plate "HOV OK" produced and held at the DMV. It's been released back into the general pool if anyone wants to see if it results in fewer inadvertent police stops in those HOV lanes.

I'm hoping my FST LION plates show up before the temporary sticker runs out.

Yes, interesting non stock wheels and tires. They look like they might be a tad bigger than stock, filling out the wheel wells a bit more than usual.

Do you know if they try to race that car in some way?

I think I recall the owner mentioning that they are bigger wheels. I forget the exact specs.

He has all season tires on the Roadster. He says it does hurt the acceleration a bit from 0-60. He feels the TC kick in a bit. But from a rolling start, 20-70 there are no problems.

He mentioned that the Roadster was rock solid during the rainy season, but it was absolutely horrible on ice. He could not even keep it straight without starting to fishtail.

I guess this is related to how the owner managed to make his dough.

Before I had my "BAT R EE" plate, the most memorable mistaken identity occurrence for me was when a coworker asked (before she knew it was my car): Did you see that gorgeous Ferrari parked outside?
