Is the turning radius/circle really that bad?

I don't remember it being so. (Disclaimer: my test drive was VP10 with the old drive train... it is possible things have changed). One of the things I love about my SLK is the super-tight turning radius. When I test drove the Roadster, one of the first things I did was find a big parking lot and spun it in a circle.

I remember being annoyed by the lack of power steering, so I can concede that complaint. The turning radius was not as good as the SLK, but I don't remember it as being horrible either (like the video intimates).

I would like to re-test with one of the new models.

So I had to post that having watched it with the sound off. Now I'm home I've had a chance to watch it again with sound.

I'm not sure what he is talking about. I haven't thought or seen evidence of it having a poor turning circle previously.

This review is kind of like the anti-Top Gear - starts of criticising and then finishes on a high note. I wonder if that is deliberate?
