There is no front license plate on Martin's car. Is that optional in California?
Not optional to my knowledge. Some people get away with putting it in the front of their windshield but I think California law requires a securely mounted front license plate.Originally Posted by James

No, that's a picture of F12. I think it was Laurent that photoshopped in the gray stripes.
I took this photo a few weeks ago:
At first, I thought that gray hardtop might be a replacement for Martin's since the colors appear the same. However, the stripe pattern doesn't match.
That's what I thought, though a sign in the window often means a customer car, right? Ill wait for him to confirm.
I keep hearing that stripes are popular but I guess this does not count.
By the way, front plates are absolutely required in CA.
