Do you do the Tesla Nod???

That is an awesome video. That would be a great first commercial for Tesla to air. The only other vehicle you would do that in would be a Jeep, like 10 years ago. But that was more of a "wave". If I had a Model S I would totally do the "nod". I plan on getting model E or GenIII (whatever they decide to call it) and then i'll do the "nod"

What is the song in this video? I tried to Shazam it but it didn't come up. It's perfect. Reminds me of the old Apple Commercials ("Hi I'm a Mac, and I'm a PC")

Don't know about the rest of the world, but in Australia, a lot of motorcyclists do "the nod" (regardless of type of motorcycle). Doesn't really happen in cars.

I would totally do the Tesla "nod" though! Great video. :biggrin:

I've done the nod with a couple Leafs and Volts while in my Roadster too... I think they have bigger grins than I do

To "nod your head" means to bend it up and down (associated in some cultures with "yes" whereas side-to-side means "no").

Ok brianman. Then I do the Tesla nod.

I'm more of a smile-and-wave guy but, the nod's cool.

I got the "Hang Loose," or "Shaka" sign from another Tesla one time. I thought that was our gang sign.

...variable...nod or hang loose...thumb's up with reply from the ICE crowd.....

Just got back from Hawaii and I think 'Hang Loose' is appropriate now (+ more Humboldt style). I have done a 'T' but it looks more like you are giving someone a timeout or something. A huge smile and nod is the easiest and quickest :biggrin:

That was intense. Not being from California if we ever see another Tesla we're bouncing off the seats as are the people in the other car!

I've been doing it wrong! I tried a "thumbs up" to some folks in a Tesla today, but they refused to look at me in my gas guzzling SUV. Those of us waiting for our Tesla's need a temporary permit or something that will allow temporary access to the club.
